Adams Mark 2 Revolver : Staff Sergeant Scale, Military History Section
Description
Adams Mark 2 double action, solid frame revolver. Octagonal barrel marked ADAM'S PATENT SMALL ARMS CO. 391 STRAND LONDON. On the right side of the frame is ADAMS PATENT within an oval with TRADE A (in a circle) MARK and the serial number. It has a side gate for loading the cylinder and a swivel ejector rod down the right side of the barrel. One piece checkered wood grip and a butt loop (lanyard ring missing). Overall surface rust.
History / Summary
This revolver was confiscated from the private effects of a Staff Sergeant serving with Military History Section in the Far East at the end of the Second World War. He had included the revolver in with an officlal consignment of captured Japanese equipment. Provenance of the pistol is unknown.
