Studio portrait of 29754 Gunner Leslie Lawrence Moon 5th Battery 2nd Field Artillery Brigade of West Brunswick, Vic. An engine driver prior to his enlistment on 8 April 1915 he embarked from Melbourne on board HMAT Aeneas on 3 October 1916. Moon died of wounds on 3 October 1918 aged 25, the son of John Henry and Marie Moon, of Flemington, Vic and is memorialised at 446 Tincourt New British Cemetery France.
