Long sleeved flannel shirt : Australian Army
Description
Australian Army grey flannel long sleeved placket front shirt that has 30mm wide band of brown cotton band collar. The three buttons on the front and the single ones on each square narrow cuff are nickel-plated. 'Canberra Fy. / Size M. / 1918 / ? broad arrow D' is printed on the maker' label, which is sewn onto the inside of the yoke just below the collar. The rear of the shirt has a box pleat attached to the yoke and the lower hem is a classic cut with the tail longer than the front.
