Description
`Kangaroos' recruiting march passing the state library in Macquarie street, Sydney, led by Colonel J A Kenneth Mackay. The march started in Wagga Wagga, NSW, with about 88 volunteers. The number of recruits had grown to some 230 0n arrival in Sydney. Bill king (white neck scarf) carries the banner which includes the Australian flag and the outline of Australia.
