[Sheet music] This Bit of the World Belongs to Us
Sheet music for the song titled 'This bit of the world belongs to us', written and composed by Edwin Greenslade Murphy under the pseudonym Dryblower. The song featured in the J C Williamson pantomime 'Jack and Jill' and was first published in 1909.
The front cover features an illustrated picture of Australia with a photo of the performer Bert Gilbert in the bottom left corner. Bert Gilbert was the first performer of this song. Inside the front cover is a list of all the titles included in four of Allan's compilations of dance songs. The back cover shows a list of the sheet music available for purchase of all songs in the pantomimes 'Jack and Jill' and 'Cinderella'.
