412946 Flight Lieutenant Arthur Frederick Goodall, Wireless Gunner, 100 Squadron RAAF, of Lismore, manning a Vickers gas operated gun in the waist position in Beaufort Bomber Ag-633 QHZ, in flight over north east New Guinea. The crew are bombing and strafing a Japanese stronghold in Tilahau village prior to a unit of the 6th Division moving in. Other crew members are Commanding Officer 482 Wg Cdr John William Kessey; 416026 Flying Officer Alan Keith Sigley Lorimer; and 411261 Flying Officer Roy 'Ding' Dingwall.
