Carcano Model 91 Rifle
Description
Carcano Model 91 bolt action rifle. Breech stamped TURIN and the serial number. The butt has a hexagon arsenal stamp with FABBA D'ARMI DE TERNI 17 surrounding a crown over a shield with a cross and under neath PI 2560. It is complete with a light brown leather sling that has brass fixing studs.
History / Summary
This type of rifle was the standard issue weapon of the Italian Army during World War One but many were still on issue in the Second World War.
