Vz 58P Assault Rifle
Description
Czechoslovakian Vz 58V Assault Rifle with a 30 round detachable staggered box magazine. Cast and machined action with a V section top cocking slide. The action is marked on the left side with crossed swords, '75' and the serial number. The pistol grip, butt and fore grip are made from brown fibre plastic. It has a post front sight and a V notch tangent leaf rear. The weapon is complete wth a 30 round magazine.
History / Summary
This firearm, confiscated by the Australian Customs Service in Sydney in 1988, was believed to have been destined for the Fijian counter revolutionary army.
