Description
Chapter Four of Major Pond's account of his military career. Covers the service with the 45th Battalion the Royal Fusiliers, Sadlier-Jackson's Brigade, in the North Russian Relief Force. Pond was in charge of "A" Company Signal Section. A number of Australians served in this battalion including the Australian Victoria Cross winners Pease and Sullivan.
