Chicom Type 56 Assault Rifle
Description
Type 56 Assault Rifle. Pressed metal construction with a wooden butt, chequered pistol grip and two piece fore end. The left side of the receiver is marked with M22 and the serial number. The steel butt plate is fitted with a spring loaded trap door. Overall metal parts painted black (except for the top cover) and woodwork varnished.
The cleaning rod is missing and the weapon has been rendered inert by welding across the bolt face.
