Chicom Type 53 Carbine
Description
Chicom Type 53 bolt action carbine. Breech ring stamped with three Chinese characters (Type 53) over 1956 and the serial number. It has a one piece wooden stock and there are slots in the butt and fore end for sling swivel straps. A folding cruciform bladed bayonet is attached to the right side of the muzzle. The bolt and bayonet are welded in place. Fitted with a cleaning rod.
