Description
M1 Garand semi automatic rifle. The receiver is marked US RIFLE CAL.30 MI SPRINGFIELD ARMORY and the serial number. It has a full wood stock and the butt has a unit embarcation marking of green yellow green in a rectangular shape on the right side. The weapon is complete with all parts including the sling swivels and is operational.
History / Summary
Captured by Australian Forces in Vietnam. The green yellow green marking on the butt is the unit embarcation code for the Australian unit that transferred the rifle to Australia with the unit stores.
