Description

Brunswick rifle. Back action percussion lock engraved with the rampant lion indicating that it was made for the East India Company. No proof marks to the barrel although the tang has a crown over 3 and is held into the stock with three 'keys'. Bayonet bar to the right side and has a post with one 'flip up' rear sight. Stock marked on the butt 63 over J over 43. 331 on the brass fore-end cap. It is complete with sling swivels and ramrod.
