Description
Berthier Model 1907/15 bolt action rifle. Blued steel action engraved St Etienne Mle 1907-15 on the left side. One piece wooden stock with a single barrel band and an end cap that incorporates a stacking pin. The knox form is stamped MA S 1916. Some minor stock bruises.
History / Summary
The Berthier Model 1907/15 was a superior weapon to the Lebel rifle due to the clip loading magazine. Both rifles were issued to the French military forces during the First World War.
