Description

Beaumont Adams Dragoon five shot percussion revolver. Frame engraved B.17,873 over ADAMS' PATENT and the serial number. The top frame is engraved with the retailer's name: THOs CONWAY 15 BLACKFRIARS ST, MANCHESTER. The left side of the frame has a cylinder loading lever. The grips are one piece checkered walnut. This pistol is contained in a lockable wooden travelling case measuring 390x185x60 mm. Inside the case is green baise lined with separate compartments containing a black handled nipple wrench, a copper powder flask, a brass bullet mold, a silver plated oil bottle made by G&J.W.Hawksley, a brass mounted wooden cleaning rod, a spare main spring and eleven conical lead projectiles.
