Homemade Martini Rifle
Description
Homemade Martini single shot, lever action rifle with an engraved brass action and trigger guard in a floral pattern. The barrel has an engraved top section and a cannon style muzzle bush. The wooden butt and fore arm appear to be hand carved. It has a steel pin through the wrist. Not fitted with sling swivels or a cleaning rod.
History / Summary
This weapon was home made in the Middle East and carried by an Arab tribesman during the First World War in Palestine.
