Description
Gras Model 1866-74 M80 single shot bolt action rifle. Action marked MANUFACTURE D'ARMES Chatellerault Mle 1866-74 over M80. Barrel knox form stamped 1874 C84 over MA left side and the serial number on the right side. The butt has an armoury stamp dated 1874 with a red disc in the centre having the letters MA. The serial number is stamped on the bolt, breech, butt and the bayonet lug.This rifle has been modified from it's original 1866 design in 1874 ans 1880.
