Starboard side view of the army transport USS General J H McRae (ap-149). Note the two 5 inch/38 guns forward, boats and rafts amidships and funnel aft. 20 mm Oerlikon AA guns can be seen in the forward superstructure and on platforms amidships. SC series radar is fitted at the head of the foremast with SG radar on the topmast above it. (Naval Historical Collection)
