Description
Midshipman's log kept while aboard HMAS Shropshire. Provides a detailed record of training and sea trials, shipboard life, re-fit including the installation of anti-aircraft radar, gunnery duries, active service including the battles of Leyte and Lingayen Gulf. Japanese kamikaze attacks are recorded in detail. Includes sketches and maps. (See also MSS1428).
