Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Kiem, former commander of D445 Battalion, briefing Ian McNeill (Official History Unit, Australian War Memorial) at the south-east corner of Binh Ba village (GR YS453738). Seated group includes from left: interpreter Nguyen Van Niem holding notebook, Ian McNeill, and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Kiem in white shirt sleeves.
