"Are we downhearted? No"
Description
A group of tent mates at either Toowoomba or Enoggera camp shortly after enlistment in the AIF. The recruits include Hurtle Norman Hallett (believed seated second from right with a pipe, sleeve marked with a cross) and William George Hallett (believed seated third from left, holding his white hat, marked with a cross), both of Dalby, Queensland. The image was supplied by Mrs Sarah Elizabeth Hallett, mother of the Halletts.
