Group of troopers assembled around the graves of Lieutenant Alexander George Gilpin and 343 Private (Pte) Andrew Thomas Woodman, both members of the C Squadron, 4th Victorian Imperial Bushmen Contingent after their burial. They were killed in action on 20 August 1900 whilst assisting in clearing the Boers out of Ottoshoop.
