Outdoor portrait of NX1951 Sergeant Reginald Norman Blain, B Company, 2/2nd Battalion, of "Bardwell", Glen Innes, NSW. Blain was later promoted to Lieutenant, and was killed in action on 20 October 1942 whilst serving with the 16th Brigade on the Kokoda Trail, aged 24 years.
