Type 68 (AK47) Assault Rifle
Description
North Korean Type 68 Assault Rifle. Pressed metal construction with a wooden butt, plain pistol grip and two piece fore end. The left side of the receiver is marked with a five pointed star in a circle, 58 and the serial number. Overall metal parts painted black. The steel butt plate is fitted with a spring loaded trap door.
It is missing a cleaning rod, the bolt face is welded and the butt damaged on the left side.
