Description
Damage to a Centurion Mk V/1 tank, call sign three two (32), of 2 Troop, C Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps. It was caused by a rocket propelled grenade (RPG) which was detonated against an earthern mound protecting the tank at Fire Support Base Balmoral on 28 May 1968. The canvas shroud covering the mantlet has been totally destroyed by the blast and pock marks are visible in the armour.
