Description
Thesis "Australian involvement in counter insurgency programmes in South Vietnam 1961-1965, with emphasis on the Central Highlands". Examines Australian political and military initiatives concentrating on the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam in conjunction with the USA Central Intelligence Agency in the Cnetral Highlands. This involvement took the form of programmes to organise the Montagnard against the National Liberation Front, efforts to train and advise the Army of the Republic of South Vietnam, the Popular Force and the Regional Force based in the region.
