Description
"The Vietnam Veteran and the Media. A comparative analysis of media coverage of the war and the veteran, 1968 to 1973". An analysis of television news programmes and articles from "Time", "Life" and "Newsweek", correlated by date. The intent of the analysis was to report on the number of Vietnam related stories, the specific content of those stories, placement of those stories, percentage of items devoted to Vietnam, content of other stories carried, words used in relation to the parties involved. Also includes a statistical analysis of the percentage of stories produced over this period, plus weekly analysis and examines the ratio of anti war stories to combat related stories.
