Lee-Enfield No 9 Mk I Rifle : Royal Navy
Description
Lee-Enfield No 9 Mk I Rifle. Receiver marked .22 R.F.N.9 Mk I over P-H 60 and the serial number. This rifle has been converted from a SMLE No IV rifle by boring out the .303 inch calibre barrel and then sleeved with a .22 inch calibre liner. The bolt head has been replaced to take an offset firing pin and the magazine spring removed. The heel of the butt has been repaired.
