Martini-Henry Mk III Rifle : New South Wales Military Forces
Description
Martini-Henry Mk III lever action, single shot rifle. The action is marked with a crown over VR B.S.A & M. Co 1886 III/I. The butt is stamped N.S.W. over a double arrow sale mark 1/667/96 and has the BSA&M trade mark roundel with WD in the centre over III. The rifle is missing the top section of the sight leaf, the lover sling swivel and the cleaning rod. A piece of wood has been chipped out of the cleaning rod channel.
