Description

The collection includes poems, a message, Order of the Day message from Blamey about the surrender of the Japanese, a letter from Gavin Long (Official Historian), a list compiled by Hill of AIF slang words, '9 Division general staff instruction no. 75 on gap marking minefield', '9 Division training instruction no. 22 on drills for night attack' and '9 Division tactical exercise with troops - no. 1 night attack, infantry battalions and army tanks'.
