Studio portrait of NX45225 Private Edward Terrett, 2/10 Field Ambulance. Incriptions on reverse. Accompanied by original envelope which was used to send photograph to Mrs Amy Ruggeri 'Grandma', Pte Terrett's foster mother.
From Sydney, NSW, Pte Terrett enlisted on 19 June 1940. He was a prisoner of war in the Sandakan camp in North Borneo and died on 7 August 1945, aged 25 years. He is commemorated on the Labuan Memorial, Labuan, Malaysia.
