Demagogie [Demagogy]
Description
One of a series of fourteen lithographs from the published print portfolio, 'Europa' commissioned in 1922 by the publishing house, Georg Muller Verlad.
This image depicts six figures standing on podiums arranged in a circle facing a crowd which surrounds them. The figures enthusiastically wave their arms in the act of addressing the crowd though the crowd grow disinterested and look away from the speakers and towards the viewer.
