Letter from V M [Vivienne Mary] Jarvis to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, Waverley, 12 October 1915. Enclosed is a letter from her husband Private William Henry Jarvis, 2nd Battalion, Lemnos Island, 13 August 1915. This letter, written while in Murdrus Hospital, describes the landing at Gallipoli and his evacuation to Lemnos Island for medical care.
