Letter from M Dunlop to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, 25 April 1916
Description
Letter from M Dunlop to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, Croydon Park, 25 April 1916. The letter queries a newspaper account of the landing at Anzac Cove and the fact that the story does not mention any soldiers from New South Wales. They then ask that the facts be taken from their letter and the letter enclosed.
Attached to this letter is a newsclipping entitled 'Sapper Story' and a letter from Lance Corporal Thomas Dunlop to his Mother and All at home, Egypt, 16 May [1915]. In the letter Dunlop describes his experiences fighting at Anzac Cove and the casualties incurred as well as informing them of the situation regarding mail and parcel post.
