Description
Letter from Mrs Blackburn to the Sydney Morning Herald Office. Mrs Blackburn is asking for the attached letter and postcards, which had been incorrectly forwarded to her, to be published in the paper to find their correct owners. The attached letter is from Stanley Melville Murphy, 18th Battalion to his Aunt, 27 August 1916, Rolleston Military Camp, England. In his letter Murphy describes his training and he passes on information relating to common acquaintances. The first postcard is of Marble Arch and is address to Murphy's cousin Dolly and the second postcard of St Paul’s cathedral in London is to his aunt. [Includes envelope]
