Letter from Sydney Luckett to [the editor of] The Sydney Morning Herald, Gordon, 8 May 1915. In his letter Luckett, gives the newspaper permission to publish the attached letter from his Brother in Law; leaving out the personal details. The attached letter is from Fred [Frederick Varney], British Imperial Army, to his sister, France, 18 March 1915. The letter gives details of recent battles in France, the losses which occurred as well a news of his parents. Also includes are two envelopes; one addressed 'letter Sydney Luckett'; the other 'Miss Mavis Fleming, Rooty Hill'.
