Description
Letter from Gladys Brian to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald. In her letter, Gladys mentions, an attached extract of a letter from her brother, in which he covers action which she had not seen written so far in the paper and that all of her four brothers are currently serving as signal engineers. The extract is from Sapper Gelston Stewart Gow to his Dad, Oghratina, 11 August [1916] and is written during a lull during the attack on Romani and describes attacks made against Turkish soldiers by the Anzac mounted division.
