Letter from 1804 Alexander James Boyd, 20th Battalion to Mr Reeve [Editor of the Sydney Morning Herald], 14 August 1916. In his letter, Boyd describes a mixed group of allies from all parts of the world helping local men, women and children harvesting corn, the local living conditions and French soldiers held as prisoners of war.
