Description
Letter from Corporal 36187 Thomas Humphries Mollard, Royal Army Medical Corps to J Fairfax and sons, Alexandria, Egypt, 6 July 1916. In his letter, Mollard, speaks of 44 Private Frank Henry Downes, 9th Battalion, a previous patient of his, who was blinded at Gallipoli and had been mentioned in the Sydney Mail. Attached is a photo taken of Private Downes by Mollard. In the letter a second photograph is mentioned but the location of that photograph is unknown. [Includes envelope]
