Letter from Constable E C Wavis, Bungendore Police station to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, Bungendore, 15 August 1915. In the letter Wavis mentions an enclosed photograph of a cake. The cake was raffled on Australia Day in aid of Australian wounded soldiers. Attached to the letter is a photograph of two children standing next to a table holding a large decorated cake.
