Note headed “Boys of the Dardanelles” by A. C. Wallace, Forest Lodge. The note contains information on the well being and war service of two brothers, Sapper Edward Owen Poyntz Burne and 3863 Driver Claude Hector Burne, 1st Field Artillery. Attached to the note is a partial photo of Sapper Edward Burne and a Studio portrait Claude Burne, wearing civilian clothing. Also included is a small note requesting the return of the photographs
