Draft chapters for "These are facts : the autobiography of Air Marshal Sir Richard Williams KBE, CB & DSO". This covers his service in the 1914-1918 war and the 1939-1945 war and traces the beginnings of the Royal Australian Air Force. There are two sets of drafts. Ist draft consists of typed chapters with handwritten corrections. Item [1] Chapters 1 - 8 1890 to 1919; item [2] Chapters 9 - 19 1919 to 1940; item [3] Chapters 20 - 26 1940 to 1949 and item [4] Chapters 27 - 29 1949 to 1973 plus spare and replaced pages and suggested amendments from colleagues. 2nd draft consists of typed chapters with many handwritten revisions and amendments. Item [5] Chapters 1 - 7 to 1918; item [6] Chapters 8 - 19 1918 to 1940; item [7] Chapters 20 - 28 1940 to 1973 and item [8] appendices 1 - 8 plus instructions to the printer and index and illustrations.
