Studio portrait of 3210 Private (Pte) Charles Thomas Collett MM, B Company, 29th Battalion. Pte Collett, of Wee Waa, NSW, enlisted on 17 March 1916 and embarked from Melbourne on 4 July 1916 aboard HMAT Berrima. He was awarded the Military Medal on 2 August 1918 for conspicuous gallantry and skillful leadership in action on 28 - 29 July 1918 at Morlancourt. He returned to Australia on 20 June 1919.
