1761 Flight Lieutenant (later Squadron Leader [Sqn Ldr]) Thomas Wylie Patrick, Footscray, Vic (left), the squadron armament officer, with 14292 Sergeant (Sgt) Harold Muir Rainbow, Plymouth, England, Armourer, both of No. 10 (Sunderland) Squadron RAAF at RAF Station Mount Batten. Sqn Ldr Patrick was lost on operations over the Atlantiic on 17 May 1943 and has no known grave.
