A forward view of the Vickers Viking amphibian aircraft in which Australian Captain Ross MacPherson Smith intended to fly around the world. During an air test at Brooklands on 13 April 1922, the aircraft crashed killing Captain Smith and his crew member Lieutenant Bennett.
