Studio portrait of Merle Kelway Hare who served in the Women’s Royal Australian Naval Service during the Second World War as WR/940 Leading Wran Supply Assistant Merle Storrie.
'Reflections – Honouring our World War Two Veterans' was a project that saw 6,500 Second World War Veterans photographed by 450 accredited professional photographers from around Australia from 2015 to 2017. On completion of the project, the Australian Institute of Professional Photography donated a digital archive of these images to the Australian War Memorial. The Australian War Memorial is not the copyright owner of the Reflections series.
