Diary relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Colonel Rupert Major Downes, Head Quarters, Anzac Mounted Division. This diary, written between 13 June 1917 and 24 August 1917, partly written for his wife to read, begins by listing the places he traveled between January and April 1917.
