Action stations...Saving is everybody's war job
Description
Henrion is one of the most well known designers working on propaganda posters in Britain during the Second World War. This war savings poster is an example of his clever use of photography. Three colorful arrows are superimposed over a battleship to build a dynamic image in which the text has been arranged in a textbook example of all the tenets of Modernism.
