Description
Series of six small screen prints by renowned Australian graphic artist Toni Robertson created from photographs of anti-war graffiti around Canberra. Robertson’s Small Matters series documents public graffiti related to public disapproval of uranium mining and export, nuclear armament as well as broad anti-war and pro-peace sentiments. Robertson has depicted an array of sites, some well-known, some obscure, in order to give the impression that descent was present in all corners of the capital. This screen print features the slogan "NO URANIUM PLEASE", spray painted onto metal cylinders laying on the side of the Federal Highway.
