Filling sandbags
Description
Preliminary sketch of three soldiers in the foreground of the work. A fourth soldier's head has been sketched in the upper left of the drawing. Two of the soldiers are filling a sandbag. One soldier is shovelling dirt into the bag while the other soldier holds the bag open.
